Top 10 Questions about Outbeak Missions that you're dying to ask


1. WHAT IS OUTBREAK MISSIONS?
Outbreak Missions is a live action zombie survival experience. It's a choice dependent adventure that gives every participant a chance to make decisions in high-pressure situations. At some point while playing a video game or watching a zombie movie, you'll be saying, "I could do better than that." Well now here's your chance. You could be a more (or less) handsome Brad Pitt or a (hopefully) more adorable Emma Stone and live your very own Zombie adventure.



2. IS IT STILL A RUN?
Yes and no. Unless you are Chuck Norris, there is absolutely no way that you can survive without running to evade the undead. However, each mission will not take a run format. There is no fixed distance (3km, 5km, etc) since the distance covered will be determined by your choices. There is no prize for top finishers as well…just your life.



3. WHAT'S DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "THE ADARNA INITIATIVE" AND THE "THE NARROWS"
“The Adarna Initiative” challenges you to find the cure to the Zombies. Take on different tasks that test your stamina, decisiveness, and heart. While “The Narrows” is an escape story, and is clearly more physically demanding but no less mentally challenging. Take note, each mission has two endings, so choose wisely.

For the full narrative experience, you can sign up for both missions, or for both missions twice to live out all four endings.

4. WHAT ARE NPC'S?
NPCs or Non-Playing Characters, are individuals that you’ll meet in your mission who will guide you on your way. As is the norm in a Zombie apocalypse, don’t just trust everyone outright. Zombies aren’t the only bad guys here so keep your guard up.

5. DO WE GET TO RUN INSIDE FESTIVAL MALL?
Yes, absolutely. Both missions will span the inside and outside of the mall.

6. HOW IMPORTANT ARE THE LIVES?
Well, important. Duh. Seriously, if you run out of lives, you will no longer be eligible for additional prizes. In Missions-speak, you’re dead.

Don’t lose heart just yet, though. Health strips (you’ll recognize them by their different reflective color) can be found throughout each mission. They can be earned by completing tasks and found littered across the path.

Also, keep your eye out for “life spots”—areas full of health strips but are surrounded by Zombies. Would you risk it?

Found love in a hopeless place? For the first time ever, we will also allow you to be a knight in shining armor and give out your extra lives to your (cute) friend. Maybe you could be more than friends after that.

This process of transferring lives can only happen in our designated life check points in the middle of the course. Good luck.

7. DO I NEED TO JOIN WITH A GROUP?
No you don't. We are releasing everyone in groups of 10. What's that--You have less than 10 friends? Don't let that stop you from registering. You’ll be automatically matched with other groups to cover the balance before your mission starts.

Firm believer of “STRANGER DANGER”? Do not fret, once you progress deeper into the story, we will not force you guys to stay with your pre-arranged group.

8. WHAT SHOULD I AVOID?
Violence, swearing, and outright disrespect to other survivors, NPCs, and Zombies. Violators of this rule will be escorted out of the infected zone immediately and with no refund.

Also, weapons of any kind are forbidden.

9. WILL THERE BE MORE MISSIONS?
We did say earlier that these are only the first two missions, so yes, there are already other missions waiting for you. Excited to know where and when the next ones will be? Pay attention to your surroundings in your current missions. We will be dropping several hints. Each mission will be tied to the current story line being played out.



10. Will there still be an Outbreak Manila?
Yes, definitely. Stay tuned for more developments. Both events will continue to happen in "are you kidding me?!" Apocalyptic venues.
